Brett Holubeck

holubeck-firm-pictureBrett is an Associate Attorney who defends employers in labor and employment law matters. He regularly supports clients facing investigations concerning wage and hour, discrimination, retaliation, and harassment charges by government agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”) and the Department of Labor (“DOL”).

The firm believes in the importance of preventing trouble before it hits, which as the son of a small business owner, Brett values firsthand. Brett proactively looks for potential areas of liability for his clients and corrects them before a lawsuit occurs. Additionally, he aids clients in updating their policies, employment contracts, and handbooks to stay in compliance with government regulations, and he works with the team to defend clients in complex litigation, including class action lawsuits.

Brett earned a J.D. from the University of Iowa; a Master of Education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas; and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy from The Ohio State University. Brett has always been community service minded, and he is an Eagle Scout and former Teach For America corps member. In his free time, Brett enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and taking road trips across the country.
